HER STORY

FROM ARRIVE & DRIVE TO CHASING CHECKERS

Cara first climbed into a quarter midget at six years old during an Arrive & Drive at Little T Speedway. She wanted to try it. Then she wanted to do it again. Before long, our family was learning race cars, setups, tires, travel weekends and everything else that comes with racing.

Now, at nine, Cara competes in three divisions and has raced at tracks throughout the Northeast and at national events across the country.

But the part we never want to lose is why she races in the first place: she loves it.

She loves competing with her friends, learning what the car is telling her, figuring out how to get better and taking on the next challenge. Some weekends bring trophies. Some bring broken parts, tough races and lessons we’d rather not have learned the hard way. All of it is part of becoming a better driver.

For Cara, the goal has never been to have everything figured out. It’s to keep learning, keep showing up and give it everything she’s got when she straps into the #9.

Don’t fear the challenge. Be the challenge. ™

When the helmet comes off, Cara is a kid who loves spending time with her racing friends, working on the sim, traveling with her family and finding ways to have fun wherever racing takes us.

CMR is a family-run team, which means race weekends are truly a family effort. Dad handles the car and setup, Mom handles the brand and partnerships, and Cara’s job is pretty simple: drive the race car, communicate what she’s feeling and keep learning.

Racing has also given Cara opportunities to meet incredible people, give back to her community and be part of things that matter beyond the track.
